Jim Downer, head gunsmith
Jim Downer started shooting guns as a pre-teen when his dad taught him to shoot. He has loved it ever since. After moving to Fredericksburg, he decided to take up gunsmithing professionally. He enjoys the community support here and the amazing variety of guns that come in to the shop.
Mason esse, gunsmith
Mason has lived in the Hill Country his entire life. Coming to the BSM team from Goldthwaite, Texas, he started hunting at an early age. Mason has hunted exhaustively throughout the southwest and is now looking to do more international hunting as he begins his gunsmithing career.
